If are feeling down or overwhelmed by worry and at the same time feel disconnected or lonely even if surrounded by others, its likely that there is something about your relationships that is unsettling. You may have been trying for a while to get some relief but no matter what you try you are finding yourself unhappy, misunderstood and powerless. Maybe it's the conflicts with your partner that are getting too frequent or perhaps in search for a mate you find yourself hurt and disappointed or maybe you are in a relationship but you are more like ships, passing each other in the depths of the sea. These all point to struggles in relationships and therapy with me focuses on these.

I’m a New York state licensed clinical social worker and as a therapist I use tele-health to help couples and individuals find satisfaction in their relationship to self and others. I lean on attachment science and systems work to help my client feel more at ease and empowered to make changes.

We are social creatures, seeking connections, biologically wired for attachment and I am firm believer that what happens inside is a reflection of what happens outside, of how we embed in a larger and complex network of people.

I am curious about the relationship struggles that you are facing and hope you will reach out so we can talk about how we can work together.

If you contact me, you will hear from me within a matter of hours and together we can figure out the next steps.

What can you expect?

In therapy sessions with me you can expect openness. I do not believe in telling my clients what to do, foremost because I have witnessed firsthand that it doesn’t work. Therapy is always a journey of self-understanding and my role is to guide you in this journey. But you can count on each session to help you analyze and unravel the knots in your relationships that create anxiety and distress, thereby pointing the way to solutions and releasing the pressure on your self.

For the last 20 years, I have been supporting individuals, couples and
families with mental health challenges in a variety of circumstances, and my experience
has led me to a creative, flexible and practical approach. I believe
in giving plain feedback but also like to use humor and metaphors to help us navigate
the rough waters of life.
